The Role: Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple, cross functional projects and initiatives. The suitable candidate will be well versed in project management standards and processes, with proven ability to identify and lead strategic initiatives through the various stages including analysis, requirements definition, planning, execution, and closure. Exceptional facilitation, communication and coordination skills are a must.

Responsiblities:

  • Working closely with Project Co-ordinator,  Engineers, UX designers and other team resources to lead highly skilled, technical teams across one or more projects
  • Managing internal relationships with project stakeholders and senior management, and interact at a high level with decision-makers both internally and externally
  • Spearheading project requirements, priorities and deadlines and provide master project planning to ensure project deliverables are met according timelines and budget 
  • Preparing and presenting progress reports for management 
  • Contributing to the development of project management standards, processes and tools 
  • Performing additional responsibilities as requested 
  • Up to 30% travel

Skills and qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Minimum 5 years Project Management experience within a technology environment
  • Strong mobile experience (Android and iPhone app development)
  • Proven track record in successfully managing complex IT projects and developing and implementing best practices
  • Experience leading cross functional teams though multiple and simultaneous projects.
  • Solid track record in managing relationships with Tier 1 clients 
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced customer driven environment
  • Team player who is highly motivated, has attention to detail and accepts nothing but the highest possible standards
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of application interface programming, database and systems design.
  • Proficient in MS Project, bug tracking software (ie.JIRA) and time tracking software 
  • Experience working with Agile project management methodologies would be an asset
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
